Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Chef Marc Liao got his first job at Splendido, a restaurant located in Toronto. Since then, he has worked at different restaurants worldwide to hone his culinary skills and gain different experiences, including working at STAY by Yannick Alléno in Taipei, Vue De Monde by Shannon Bennett in Melbourne, and Bennelong restaurant by Peter Gilmore in Sydney. In 2019, he made the decision to settle down with his family in Kaohsiung and joined the restaurant-opening team of Liberté by Kenji Takeda. This year, Marc decided to start a brand new chapter in his career by opening a restaurant called "Marc L³."
Marc L³ offers contemporary cuisines that combine diverse cooking styles and techniques together, and Marc's hometown cuisines are the sources of his inspiration. Through different ingredient texture and aroma combinations, Marc hopes to provide his customers with memorable dining experiences.
